I’m so glad you’re here! As a fellow Athletic Trainer, I get it - the traditional advice on how to avoid and cope with burnout just doesn't seem realistic for many of us. This in turn can make things feel even more frustrating and hopeless! But that doesn't mean that you have to just suffer in silence until you've had enough, then end up leaving the work you love for something that feels more sustainable - there is another way.
